How To Use a Knee CPM Machine at Home
About CPM Machines
Many doctors recommend using your knee CPM at night to avoid waking up with a stiff,immobile knee in the morning.
Normally you can set your machine to 40 or 50 degrees of flexion and still have a very restful night with less pain and swelling.
Use your CPM during the day at higher flexion levels to reduce pain and swelling while increasing your range of motion.
Remember: It is very important to do everything that your doctor and physical therapist tell you to do including your exercises.
